Chendo & Sons completed improvements across several areas of this San Mateo home. The project included remodeling two bathrooms, updating the kitchen, painting the entire house, and cleaning the existing outdoor stone.


Inside, the work ranged from reconfiguring the primary bathroom to refacing kitchen cabinets, installing new appliances and flooring, updating lighting, and replacing outlets and switches throughout the home.

Reconfiguring the Primary Bathroom

The primary bathroom underwent a complete demolition and reconfiguration rather than a simple surface-level update. Chendo & Sons built a new shower, relocated the toilet, and reconfigured the vanities into a double-vanity arrangement.


New LED mirrors and canless lights were also installed, bringing updated lighting into the remodeled bathroom.

Refreshing the Guest Bathroom

The guest bathroom received targeted improvements as part of the larger renovation.


A new vanity and toilet were installed, updating key features of the space while the broader project continued throughout the rest of the home.

Giving the Kitchen a Fresh Direction

Rather than completely replacing the existing cabinetry, the kitchen cabinets were refaced and the cabinet boxes were painted.


Chendo & Sons also installed new appliances and new laminate flooring, bringing several coordinated updates together to refresh the kitchen.

Painting Throughout the Home

Painting extended across the entire house as part of the project. The work included the walls, doors, trim, and high-ceiling areas.


Completing these surfaces alongside the kitchen and bathroom improvements helped carry the renovation beyond the individual remodeled rooms.

Updating Electrical Fixtures and Lighting

Electrical updates were incorporated throughout the project. Chendo & Sons replaced the home's outlets and switches, including their cover plates.


New lighting was also incorporated into the primary bathroom through LED mirrors and canless fixtures.

Refreshing the Home Inside and Out

The project was not limited to interior improvements. In addition to painting the entire house, the existing outdoor stone was cleaned as part of the overall scope.
